HyunA & Hyun Seung's Kiss was Actually "Lip to Cheek"

The steamy kiss shared between 4minute's HyunA and Beast's Hyun Seung has been the talk of the night ever since it was performed live on stage at the "2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards."

The two Cube Entertainment artists collaborated for their Troublemaker unit group, and their performance is still the hottest trending topic of the day, ranked first on portal sites and search rankings.

Fans are probably dying to know whether the "kiss" was performed spontaneously, as a stunt, or whether it was all planned. Fortunately, an official from Cube Entertainment clarified, "The kiss was something agreed upon by the directors prior to the performance. The stage was special in that not only is it a place where they could wrap up the past year's success, but also debut their new unit collaboration. Upon agreement with the directors, their kiss performance was created."

The official also revealed, "However, their lips did not touch lip to lip, but rather lip to cheek."

The new bit of information has some protective fans relieved, but regardless, fans can still look forward to the unit's debut on December 1.

For those that missed out, HyunA won the "Best Dance Performance" award while Beast won the "Best Dance Performance Group" award at the ceremony.

2NE1’s Park Bom first updated her Twitter followers with an announcement that she’s changed her account (@haroobomkum.) “itz real Bom... somebody changed ma info.. & password....T.T hi this is 2NE1's Bom. I think someone changed my password and info,” she said on her profile.

In addition, Bom also sent out a nostalgic message to their big brothers in the YG Family. She said, “We did our best, and yet we miss someone. Big Bang would’ve been stoked. We screamed really loud when Big Bang was called out. Miss U guyz.”

Big Bang won Best Music Video at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) for “Love Song.”

Speaking of wins, Bom’s fellow 2NE1 member Dara celebrated their Song of the Year Award for “I Am the Best” with a post on me2day.

“It’s the first time I am able to face you today and I’m sorry for this embarrassing photo but I just want to express my appreciation. All four of us came to the MAMA and enjoyed it like it’s a party! I realized how fun the stage could be once again! 2NE1 Play!”

Meanwhile, fellow MAMA winner (for Best Dance Performance – Female Group) miss A’s Min had a hurdle to overcome. A neck brace!

The petite girl group member pulled a muscle on her neck during dance practice, which warranted her wearing protective gear before heading to Singapore for the awards show.

“This is the first ever miss A-signed plaster cast,” she said on her Twitter (@missA_min.) Min did eventually perform at the MAMA without the neck brace on.
